Intelligent Recruitment and Talent Pools

With the rise of the digital world has come the rise of intelligent recruitment methods. Unlike traditional means, digital gives recruiters and candidates more opportunities to get in touch with each other.

 

In recent years online recruitment methods have been developing even further. The online ’job board’, which has dominated the digital job market since its inception, has been overtaken by more innovative online recruitment methods. Typically, recruiters have found that these job boards don’t deliver relevant candidates for experienced hire positions. Demand for more relevant candidates has led to organisations such as ourselves developing new services and techniques to provide them.

 

One of the most popular ways to innovatively source candidates is via a talent pool. Instead of opening recruitment channels each time a new position opens – many companies are now seeking to create ’pools’ of quality candidates in advance. By taking the time to curate groups of relevant, skilled and experienced candidates, both companies and agencies are able to quickly and effectively source potential new employees as and when they are needed.

 

We believe that talent pools are a much more intelligent and productive way for recruiters to work. Because of this, we have created a series of these talent pools which enable us to reach out to relevant candidates for each position we receive. Not only does this mean that we are able to find quality candidates for our clients quickly and cost-effectively – it also means that our candidates only receive notifications of opportunities that are suitable for them. This set up is ideal for ’passive’ candidates who want to be kept up to date with opportunities of interest to them, but do not want to be bombarded with those that are not.
