As one of the most recognised brands in the UK, Royal Mail has a broad range of products and services designed for both homes and businesses.
Royal Mail Group is the sole provider of the UK’s Universal Service. Along with Post Office Ltd, Parcelforce Worldwide and General Logistics Systems (GLS), Royal Mail is one of the four brands which make up Royal Mail Group Ltd employing around 163,000 people in the UK. Royal Mail is our letters and packages business, covering the whole of the UK for our one-price-goes-anywhere universal service obligation (USO). A trusted brand by customers and consumers we have over 360 years of heritage which we are rightly proud of. But there is also a massive future out there. The passing of the Postal Services act gives us the framework within which we can achieve key elements of our plan which is; 1. Modernise our operations. Significant progress has been made. There is much more to be done. 2. Sharpen our focus on our Customers. We need to put their needs at the centre of everything we do. 3. A fair regulatory deal. We should be treated like every other company. We are working hard to achieve this. 4. Innovate and come up with new ways of making money.
