Job Purpose:
Lead responsibility for the Commercial UKLPI Scorecard, Forecasting, and QBR processes, leading on Commercial inputs to external audit process and own overall Commercial cashflow forecast process. Lead responsibility for all financial aspects of the Brand, Web, Sales, Customer Experience and Innovation business areas.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and own the overall performance management, process for commercial, including scorecards, forecasting and QBR processes
- Lead and support performance management for Brand, Web, and CE including the critique of balanced scorecards, and the evaluation of remedial actions
- Lead responsibility for Innovation finance, including owning due diligence and business valuation processes for assessing new business opportunities
- Root cause analysis of monthly results and validity testing of proposed contingency plans
- Identification and testing of all risks and opportunities
- Management and co-ordination of all annual financial planning processes for Brand Web CE and Innovation
- Lead on ensuring Marketing Campaigns are supported by appropriate measurement processes and delivering against planned ROI
- Financial support to the Brand, Web and CE teams in the delivery of major change projects
- Own cashflow forecasting process for Commercial, including cashflow and balance sheet management interface with Group Finance
- Qualified Accountant
- Good understanding of performance management and financial control processes
- Excellent influencing skills across a wide range of the organisation
- Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to explain complex financial issues clearly & concisely and make recommendations for improvement
